Properties

VELIBOL bolus is designed to complement dry cows’ ration and to contribute to an easy calving preparation.
VELIBOL is adapted to complete dry cow's feed with trace elements and vitamins especially at the end of gestation and during fetal development. VELIBOL is composed of copper, zinc, manganese, iodine, cobalt and selenium as well as vitamins A, D3 and E. VELIBOL also includes plant ingredients, among which are Caulophyllum and cohosh.

VELIBOL has an equivalent that complies with the specifications of organic farming and meets the same objectives which name is VELTONIC.

Trials

A large-scale experiment was carried out to measure the effect of VELIBOL on calves’ vitality before calving and on dairy cows’ breeding processes. The results were as follow:

dynamic parturition and less assistance required for calving,
stronger calves,
a smoother functioning of the postpartum period.

In addition, cows’ colostrum tended to be of better quality after calving.

Direction For Use

VELIBOL must be administered at least 45 days before calving to sustain the end of gestation and calving preparation.

Association: VELIBOL may be completed by LACTARI. Administered at drying-off, LACTARI contributes to cut-off milk secretions for optimal dry off.
